An Act increasing the police and fire retirement age from 65 to 67.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 415 of the Acts of 1987 is hereby amended by striking the word “sixty-five” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “sixty-seven”.

SECTION 2. Section 1 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the figure “65”, in line 329, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “67”.
