An Act establishing building trades recovery week.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15IIIIII the following section:-
Section 15JJJJJJ. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the last week in April as Building Trades Recovery Week, for the Buildings Trades Employers Association to promote awareness of the dangers of opioids and substance misuse among workers in the construction industry and facilitate discussions and events to combat the opioid epidemic and promote mental health in the commonwealth's building construction industry.
