An Act relative to inspection station licenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 7W of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the figure “142M”, in line 8, the following words:- ; provided however, that the rules and regulations shall prioritize applications for the licensing of inspection stations in municipalities with fewer than 2 licensed inspection stations of the same class as the application.
SECTION 2. Said section 7W of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the second paragraph the following paragraph:-
The registrar shall not impose a limit on the number of inspection station licenses in the commonwealth.
