An Act to ensure electric motor vehicle charging fairness.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Subsection (d) of section 16 of chapter 25A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- The owner or operator of a public electric vehicle charging station shall assess the cost for electric vehicle charging services on a per-kilowatt-hour basis and may assess further charges for electric vehicles that remain connected to the charging station after being fully charged.
