By Representative Vaughn of Wrentham and Senator Rausch, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 4089) of Marcus S. Vaughn and Rebecca L. Rausch (by vote of the town) that the town of Wrentham be authorized to grant seven additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises in said town.  Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act to allow the Wrentham Board of Selectmen to increase the number of alcohol licenses for on-premises consumption for the town of Wrentham by 7.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the local licensing authority of the town of Wrentham may grant an additional seven (7) licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises.

SECTION 2. That the General Court may make clerical or editorial changes of form only to the bill, unless the Board of Selectmen approve amendments to the bill before enactment by the General Court, and provided further that the Board of Selectmen is hereby authorized to approve amendments which shall be within the scope of the general public objectives of this petition.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
