An Act relative to state grants targeting minority communities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Subsection (p) of section 3 of Chapter 40G is hereby amended by adding the following:- 

; provided, further, that not less than 30 per cent of recipients be minority-owned businesses or businesses with boards composed of not less than 50 per cent minority members.

SECTION 2. Subsection (29) of Section 3 of Chapter 23G is hereby amended by adding the following:-

; provided, further, that not less than 30 per cent of recipients be minority-owned businesses or businesses with boards composed of not less than 50 per cent minority members.

SECTION 3. Subsection (22) of Section 4 of Chapter 23I is hereby amended by adding the following:-

; provided, further, that not less than 30 per cent of recipients be minority-owned businesses or businesses with boards composed of not less than 50 per cent minority members.

SECTION 4. Subsection (t) of Section 3 of Chapter 40W is hereby amended by adding the following:- 

; provided, further, that not less than 30 per cent of recipients be minority-owned businesses or businesses with boards composed of not less than 50 per cent minority members.
