An Act releasing certain land use restrictions held by the department of conservation and recreation.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the restrictions held by the department of conservation and recreation as successor in interest to the board of metropolitan park commissioners, granted to it through the Department of Conservation and Recreation by William Cordingley and Jessie Cordingley, recorded on November 19, 1897 with the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds in Book 2486, Page 135, by releasing therefrom the land area shown as Lots 14, 15, and 16 on a plan entitled “Plan of Land of the North Shore Land Co. Situated at Revere Mass.” prepared by Whitman & Breck Surveyors, recorded with the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds on the last page of Book 1333 shall be released.

The recipient of the release shall assume all costs associated with engineering, surveys, appraisals, deed preparation and other expenses deemed necessary by the department to execute the conveyances authorized in this act.
