An Act requiring menstrual products in buildings on public higher education campuses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 27 the following section:-
Section 27A. Subject to appropriation each public institution of higher education shall provide disposable menstrual products to menstruating individuals in the restrooms of any such institution’s building at no cost. The disposable menstrual products shall be available in a convenient manner that does not stigmatize the individual seeking such products. For the purposes of this section “disposable menstrual products” shall mean products including, but not limited to, tampons, sanitary napkins, and underwear liners.
