An Act relative to the punishment of organized retail crimes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 30D of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 14, after the word “years” the following words:- or imprisonment in the house of correction for not more than 2 ½ years.
SECTION 2. Said section 30D of said chapter 266 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting, in line 25, after the word “years” the following language:- or imprisonment in the house of correction for not more than 2 ½ years.
SECTION 3. Section 26 of chapter 218 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 20, after the word “thirty” the following words:- “thirty D”.
