An Act to expand access for those living with younger onset Alzheimer’s, dementia and other disabilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any General or special law to the contrary, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts shall request approval for an amendment to the MassHealth Frail Elder home and community-based services waiver approved under authority of §1915(c) of the Social Security Act. The amendment shall add Medicaid eligible individuals who are disabled as defined by § 1614 of the Social Security Act to the eligibility criteria of the Frail Elder waiver.
