An Act directing the Department of Conservation and Recreation to convey a certain parcel of land in the town of Rutland.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
(a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commissioner of the department of conservation and recreation shall convey to abutting property owner, Kevin J. Mack of the town of Rutland, a parcel of land in the town of Rutland. The parcel consists of 65,400 square feet, more or less, and is shown on a plan of land entitled "driveway encroachment land swap", prepared by the department of conservation and recreation.
(b) As consideration for the conveyance of the parcel of land described in subsection (a), Kevin J. Mack shall convey to the commissioner of the department of conservation and recreation a certain parcel of land on Charnock Hill road in the town of Rutland consisting of 65,400 square feet, more or less, and shown on the plan of land described in subsection (a ). Any land or interest in land acquired pursuant to this subsection shall be permanently held and managed for purposes designated by the department of conservation and recreation.
