An Act amending the town charter in the town of Grafton relative to the town school committee and the Grafton housing authority.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Clause 1 of subsection (b) of section 3-4 of article 3 of the charter of the town of Grafton, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the words:- and all other officers and employees connected with the schools.

SECTION 2. Subsection (a) of section 3-8 of said article 3 of said charter, is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- There shall be a Housing Authority consisting of five (5) members, three (3) of these members shall be elected by the voters and two (2) shall be appointed in the manner provided by the General Laws.

SECTION 3 . This act shall take effect upon its passage.
