An Act relative to retirement benefits.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Chapter 32, Sections 65C and 65D, or any other general or

special law to the contrary, Mary McCabe is authorized to name her daughter Anna

McCabe as her survivor beneficiary, in lieu of a spouse, pursuant to section 65C or 65D

of chapter 32.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage, and shall apply retroactively as

of October 29, 2023.
