SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Dudley-Charlton regional school district may:
(i) convey to the town of Charlton, for nominal and non-monetary consideration, a fee interest in approximately 1.494 acres of land situated on Oxford road in the town of Charlton, shown as Lot 1 on a plan recorded with the Worcester registry of deeds in plan book 979, plan 11, currently held by the school district for school purposes; and
(ii) enter into agreements with the town of Charlton and convey to the town of Charlton, for nominal and non-monetary consideration, drainage and access easements and rights in land situated on Oxford road in the town of Charlton, which adjoin the parcel to be conveyed to the town of Charlton and which are owned by the Dudley-Charlton regional school district.
(b) All conveyances and agreements pursuant to subsection (a) shall be on such terms and conditions as the school committee for the Dudley-Charlton regional school district deems appropriate, which may include the reservation of restrictions, rights and easements.
SECTION 2. Chapter 30B of the General Laws shall not apply to any conveyance pursuant to section 1.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
