An Act extending the limitation on wrongful death actions.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 229 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the word “three”, in line 38, each time it appears, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 6.

SECTION 2. Section 4 of chapter 260 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “three”, in line 22, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 6.

SECTION 3. Section 4B of said chapter 260, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “three”, in line 13, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 6.

SECTION 4. Section 10 of said chapter 260, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “three”, in line 21, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 6.
