In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court
(2023-2024)
_______________
An Act relative to disqualification from operating commercial motor vehicles.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to insure a fair and equitable process for determining whether certain persons shall hold a license to operate a commercial motor vehicle, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public safety and convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 90F of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended at Section 9 (C) by deleting the word “may” in line 26 and replacing it with the word “shall”.
