An Act extending veterans retirement buyback opportunities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The first sentence of the fourth paragraph of subsection (h) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the words “four years provided” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- 10 years; provided.
SECTION 2. The third sentence of the fourth paragraph of subsection (h) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the words “five years guard service or five years active reserve service” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- 4 years guard service or 4 years active reserve service.
