An Act relative to GIC healthcare coverage for group 4 members pending disability retirement.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 28N of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph:-

(b) When any Group 4 member has applied and/or going through the accidental or ordinary disability retirement process said member's GIC health care benefits will not be terminated and be continued until the members retirement is approved.
