An Act relative to extending certain state of emergency accommodations.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to to extend certain COVID-19 measures adopted during the state of emergency, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 30A of chapter 20 of the acts of 2021, as most recently amended by section 4 of Chapter 107 of the acts of 2022, is hereby amended by striking out the words “March 31, 2023” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- July 1, 2024.

SECTION 2. Section 44 of chapter 22 of the acts of 2022  as most recently amended by section 5 of Chapter 107 of the acts of 2022, is hereby amended by striking out the words “March 31, 2023” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- July 1, 2024.
