An Act relative to the automatic renewal of professional licenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any license renewal application set forth in Chapter 112 of the general laws, the division of professional licensure shall develop and implement an automatic license renewal system for the professional licenses set forth in this chapter. The automatic license renewal system shall be designed to notify licensed professionals of an upcoming license expiration date and offer the ability to automatically renew the license online, wherever possible.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
