An Act relative to pension parity.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 14 or section 18 of chapter 176 of the Acts of 2011, or any general or special law to the contrary, the state retirement board shall re-calculate, as of the effective date of his retirement, the retirement allowance of Francis J. Doyle, a member of the state employees retirement system. This act shall not affect any other retirement benefits to which Francis J. Doyle may otherwise be entitled. The state retirement board may take any appropriate steps required to complete the re-calculation.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
