An Act relative to motor vehicle distributors.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Section 5 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the most recent edition, is hereby amended by inserting in subsection (a) the following:-

(10) motor vehicle distributor.

Section 2. Section 5 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the most recent edition, is hereby amended by striking subsection (b) and inserting in place thereof the following:-

(b) No person shall be eligible for a general registration and general registration number plates unless said person holds the necessary license or permit required by any federal, state or local law for engaging in said occupation, if any, and provides truthful and complete information in the application for general registrations and number plates in the form prescribed by the registrar.
