An Act authorizing changing the name of board of selectmen to select board and the title of selectmen to select board member in the town of Charlton.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any General or Special Law to the contrary, the Board of Selectmen of the town of Charlton shall be referred to as the "Select Board of the town of Charlton" and individual members of said Board shall be referred to as "a member of the Select Board."
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
