An Act authorizing the Wellfleet Selectboard to lease property to the Wellfleet Food Pantry, Inc..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 30B of the General Laws or any other general or special law or bylaw to the contrary, the town of Wellfleet Selectboard is authorized to lease a portion of the property located at 715 Old Kings Highway, Wellfleet, MA, shown on the Assessor's Map 36, Parcel 606, which is also the site of the Wellfleet Adult Community Center, to the private, non-profit organization known as the Wellfleet Food Pantry for the purpose of constructing a new building to house the food pantry. Said lease shall be for a term of at least twenty-five years and on such terms as the Selectboard deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Wellfleet.
