An Act authorizing the town of Topsfield to grant licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 315 of the Acts of 2014 is hereby amended by striking out section 1, and inserting in place thereof the following:-
Section 1. Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Topsfield may grant up to 8 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages, wine and malt beverages, distilled spirits only, wine only, or malt beverages only to be drunk on the premises pursuant to either section 12, 19(b), 19B(n), 19C(n), or 19E(o) of said chapter 138. The licenses shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except section 17 with such conditions and restrictions as the permit granting authority shall deem appropriate.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
