An Act relative to the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission forming a department of workplace and consumer safety.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 17 of chapter 94G of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-
(c) The commission shall establish a department of workplace and consumer safety. The department shall be responsible for investigating workplace safety including, but not limited to, air quality and first responder access. The department shall also be tasked with ensuring consumer safety by compiling data related to mold testing and reporting said data to the commission.
