An Act relative to ice cream truck vending.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 25 of chapter 270 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “truck”, in line 15, the following words:- ; provided, however, that a person under the age of 21 may engage in ice cream truck vending without a valid permit if they are working under the direct supervision of a person who has been issued a valid permit.

SECTION 2. Said section 25 of said chapter 270, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 31, the word “and”.

SECTION 3. Said section 25 of said chapter 270, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 34, the words “General Laws.” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- General Laws; and.

SECTION 4. Subsection (c) of said section 25 of said chapter 270, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following clause:-

(v) a requirement that a valid permit issued by a permitting authority shall be accepted by the permitting authorities in other municipalities without a separate permit application.
