An Act relative to allowing police and fire to work beyond the mandatory retirement age.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 329, by inserting after the words, “age 65”, the following words:- “, provided that said member may choose to work up until the age of 67, subject to approval by their appointing authority ”
