An Act increasing the age of retirement for uniformed public safety personnel in designated seasonal communities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 415 of the acts of 1987 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “sixty-five”, the following:  except in the case of a town designated as a seasonal community the age is “sixty-seven”.

SECTION 2. Section 1 of chapter 32 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2020 official edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the figure “65”, in all appearances, the following:- “except in the case of a town designated as a seasonal community the age is 67”.
