An Act to advance hate-crime protections for victims who are targeted due to their gender.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 39 of Chapter 265 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 4, as amended by section 109 of chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024, after the words “national origin,” the following word: - sex,.
