Gordon relative to the use retailer-backed coupons by licensees authorized to sell alcoholic beverages at retail for off-premises consumption; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 430) of William F. MacGregor relative to modernizing charitable organization fundraising opportunities; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 439) of Paul McMurtry relative to alcohol purchasing discounts; and the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 467) of Priscila S. Sousa relative to water rates for tenants, reports recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 4969) ought to be adopted.

Ordered, That the committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 345, 350, 381, 430, 439 and 467, relative to consumer protection and professional licensure matters.
Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
