Lombardo relative to insurance coverage for certain excess skin removal surgeries; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1268) of John Francis Moran relative to healthcare insurance coverage for maternal and pediatric health; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1287) of Edward R. Philips that health insurance policies that cover infantile cataract surgery be required to provide coverage for aphakic lenses for treatment and rehabilitation; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1323) of Alan Silvia relative to insurance coverage for individuals with autism; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1341) of Marcus S. Vaughn relative to insurance coverage for medically necessary tattoos; and the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1342) of Tommy Vitolo relative to health insurance coverage for certain medically fragile students, reports recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 5225) ought to be adopted.

Ordered, That the committee on Financial Services be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 1115, 1172, 1253, 1268, 1287, 1323, 1341 and 1342, relative to health insurance mandated benefits.
Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
