Jones, Jr., and others relative to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority; and the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3707) of Bradley H. Jones, Jr., and others relative to the procurement of rolling stock for the use of public transportation by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, reports recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 5329) ought to be adopted [Representative DeCoste of Norwell dissents].

House of Representatives, April 8, 2026.

 

 Ordered, That the committee on Transportation be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 3705 and 3707, relative to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
