Decker relative to the administration of opioid maintenance treatment in the prescription monitoring program; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2201) of Marjorie C. Decker relative to quality mental health services in state correctional facilities; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2206) of Kate Donaghue, Michael P. Kushmerek and others for legislation to enable physician assistants to authorize psychiatric holds and ensure adequate training on their use; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2210) of Kenneth I. Gordon relative to inpatient mental health care treatment; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2216) of Sally P. Kerans and Carmine Lawrence Gentile relative to anti-psychotic or other psychotropic; and the petition (accompanied by House, No. 4696) of Michelle L. Badger for legislation to establish to a board of registration of licensed mental health counselors, reports (under the provisions of House Rule 27) recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 5338) ought to be adopted.

Ordered, That the committee on Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 2197, 2200, 2201, 2206, 2210, 2216 and 4696, relative to addiction services, inpatient treatment and other related matters.
Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
