HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, April 15, 2026.

 The committee on Transportation, to whom was referred the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3753) of Steven Owens, Sean Reid and others relative to the electrification of commuter rail lines of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, reports recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 5360) ought to be adopted.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts

 Ordered, That the committee on Transportation be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House document numbered 3753, relative to electrification of commuter rail lines of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
