HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, June 8, 2026.

 The committee on Municipalities and Regional Government, to whom was referred the joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 5294) of Lindsay N. Sabadosa and Paul W. Mark (by vote of the town) for legislation to establish a temporary moratorium on large scale ground-mounted solar photovoltaic installations and battery energy storage systems in the town of Worthington, reports (under the provisions of House Rule 27) recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 5480) ought to be adopted.

House of Representatives, June 8, 2026.

 

 Ordered, That the committee on Municipalities and Regional Government be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House document numbered 5294, relative to moratoriums on solar installations in the town of Worthington.

 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
