 By striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following:–
 

 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding sections 11 and 11A of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the town of Bolton may, subject to section 17 of said chapter 138, provide for the issuance of licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages in the town of Bolton pursuant to said chapter 138. Licenses issued pursuant to this act, and the issuance thereof shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except said sections 11 and 11A.

 SECTION 2. A license granted by the licensing authority of the town of Bolton for the sale of alcoholic beverages prior to the effective date of this act shall remain in full force and effect and shall be included in any determination of the number of licenses authorized to be granted pursuant to section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws; provided, that the licensee continues to comply with said chapter 138 and the terms and conditions of its license.
