 The committee on Environment and Natural Resources, to whom were referred the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 5137) of Shirley B. Arriaga relative to the sale of parrots; the joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 5433) of Hadley Luddy (by vote of the town) for legislation to regulate the use of fertilizer in the town of Wellfleet; and the joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 5484) of Hadley Luddy (by vote of the town) for legislation to prohibit the application of fertilizer in the town of Eastham, reports recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 5643) ought to be adopted.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts

 Ordered, That the committee on Environment and Natural Resources be authorized to sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 5137, 5433 and 5484, relative to parrot sales and fertilizer regulations.

 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives on or before December 31, 2026.
