An Act relative to wildlife rehabilitators.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 58 of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after subsection 9 the following:

10. The giving of aid or care of sick, injured, debilitated and orphaned wildlife by a trained wildlife rehabilitator, as permitted by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife in accordance with 321 CMR 2.13.  Permitted wildlife rehabilitators shall enter into a signed written agreement with a veterinarian subject to written approval by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife which shall outline the specific procedures, services, responsibilities, and limitations of the wildlife rehabilitator.
