An Act relative to vehicle registration plates of veterans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1 The fifteenth paragraph of section 2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the third sentence and inserting in place thereof the following 2 sentences:- There shall be a 1-time fee of $20 for such “VETERAN” plates in addition to the established registration fee for private passenger motor vehicles and motorcycles. Such $20 fee shall not be charged upon renewal of such “VETERAN” plates.
