An Act requiring the department of the state auditor to certify compliance as a prerequisite for additional compensation for a member of the General Court.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 2. Chapter 3 of the General Laws, as appearing in 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 9D the following section:- “No member of the general court shall be eligible for any additional compensation that a member may receive pursuant to section 9B, nor an allowance for expenses pursuant to section 9C without certification from the department of the state auditor that the member is in compliance with all requests made by the department of the state auditor pursuant to section 12 of chapter 11 of the General Laws.”
