Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the teachers’ retirement board shall credit Sara Scibelli, a member of the teachers’ retirement system and an employee of the SABIS International Charter School in the city of Springfield, with creditable service for the period of August 16, 2000 to August 15, 2002, inclusive, for the purpose of determining her superannuation retirement allowance pursuant to paragraph (a) of subdivision (2) of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws.
