An Act relative to the Governor’s authority to regulate outside Milita activity.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Chapter 33 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 139 the following section - Section 140: No armed military or militia force from another state, territory, district, or country shall be permitted to operate within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the purpose of doing military duty in the Commonwealth without the permission of the commander-in-chief, unless such military force has been called into active service by the United States and is acting under the control of the President of the United States.
