SECTION 1. Section 6B of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in the first paragraph, in line 12, after the word “1”, the following:
“The payment shall be subject to an annual cost-of-living-adjustment valued at the same percentage as the annual Social Security and Supplemental Security Income cost-of-living adjustment, as determined by the United States Social Security Administration”.
SECTION 2. Section 6B of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in the second paragraph, in line 3, after the word “1”, the following:
“The payment shall be subject to an annual cost-of-living-adjustment valued at the same percentage as the annual Social Security and Supplemental Security Income cost-of-living adjustment, as determined by the United States Social Security Administration”.
