An Act authorizing the town of Provincetown to designate a check-off box on its municipal tax bills or motor vehicle excise tax bills for the town's Coastal Resilience Fund.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Town of Provincetown may, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Revenue, designate a place on its municipal tax bills, motor vehicle excise tax bills or mail with such tax bills a separate form whereby taxpayers of the Town may voluntarily check off, donate or pledge an amount of money, which shall increase the amount already due and which shall be paid over to the Provincetown Coastal Resilience Fund.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
