An Act related to minimum sentencing for persons convicted of rape.

 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

 Section 22 of Chapter 265, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended in the first paragraph by inserting after the word “years” the following:-

 “, provided that the term must be a minimum of two years.”
