An Act clarifying the duties of the adjutant general.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Subsection (b) of section 15 of chapter 33 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-

The adjutant general shall be charged with carrying out the policies of the commander-in-chief and shall issue orders in the commander-in-chief's name. The adjutant general shall have command of the military forces of the commonwealth.
