The committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight to whom was referred the petition (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 2108) of Nick Collins for legislation to provide for equal access to certain roadways under the jurisdiction of the department of conservation and recreation on the Columbia Point peninsula located between William T. Morrissey Boulevard, William J. Day Boulevard and Dorchester Bay, report the accompanying bill (Senate, No. 2879).

An Act providing for equal access to certain roadways under the jurisdiction of the department of conservation and recreation.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The first sentence of section 1 of chapter 164 of the acts of 2022 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “land”, the second time it appears, the following words:- “; provided further, that the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance may additionally grant an easement as described under this section to any other properties on the Columbia Point peninsula which are located between William T. Morrissey Boulevard, William J. Day Boulevard and Dorchester Bay, whether or not the University of Massachusetts Building Authority has entered into any ground lease with a third party for such Bayside property as otherwise required under this act.
