Notwithstanding chapter 32 of the general laws or of any other general or special law to the contrary, Will Emmet, a call member of the Heath Fire Department of the town of Heath, may continue to serve in such position beyond the age of 65; provided, however, that Will Emmet remains physically and mentally capable of performing the duties of fire fighter, and, provided further that Will Emmet shall not remain in service beyond the age of 70.
