Resolve providing for a study of Bittersweet Vine and other invasive species.

 

Resolved, notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Department of Environmental Protection shall conduct a study to examine the impact of Bittersweet Vine and other invasive plant species in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and suggest solutions to the problems created by these invasive plants.

The agency shall file a report of their findings and recommendations with the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate, the chairs of the house and senate committees on ways and means, and the house and senate chairs of environment and natural resources, not later than September 30, 2025.
